GILLIAN TYRRELL // H.BAS . MArch . TSA . OAA
Gillian is a licensed architect and writer based in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Bachelors of Architectural Studies and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Waterloo. Gillian's thesis work on the Magdalen Laundries of Ireland earned her the American Institute of Architects' Certificate for Outstanding Thesis and High Academic Standing in BAS and M.Arch programs. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, the Toronto Society of Architects, and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Gillian has experience in the design of private residential projects of various budgets, condominiums, student residences, galleries and assembly spaces, places of worship, public sports facilities, laboratory and educational facilities, public memorials and park landscaping. She has experience with new construction, as well as surgical renovation and addition work in both urban and rural environments.
